Park and Pool Rentals

As of June 20th, the HCC Pool is almost completely booked and the parks have many reservations in place. To inquire about a reservation please call the Hollowbrook Community Center (HCC) at 609-883-1199 for the pool and the Ewing Community Center (ESCC) number: 609-883-1776 x6202 for picnics at the Municipal Complex, Watson Park and Higgs Park.

Are you planning that special party or event and looking for a perfect space to hold it? Whether a picnic area at one of our parks or our public pools, we have a space for you.  Our rental staff is committed to helping you find the perfect location for your event.  All rentals, whether for picnic areas in the parks or rentals of our public pools are issued on a first come, first served basis for Ewing residents only.  We allow two park requests, which must be 30 days apart.

Please note that when reserving a picnic area, you are reserving only the pavilion with the tables and grills. Any adjacent grills and playground equipment are open to the public.

Pool Rental Packages at the Hollowbrook Community Center are offered when the pool is not open to the public . Small pool parties take place at both pools during regular open swim hours.

Applications

All applicants must submit an application for use of a facility and waiver. Once you are approved, you will receive a valid Ewing Party Permit that you must show while your party is taking place.   Copy of valid Identification is required upon approval. You will be notified within (7) days of your approval. Payment can be made by check or with cash in person at the Ewing Senior and Community Center.

Cancellations

If you do not want the picnic area of the park after you have the permit, we will need WRITTEN NOTIFICATION (2) WEEKS PRIOR TO THE RESERVED DATE for a refund.

Picnic Area Rentals

John S. Watson Park

Watson Park is situated on 66 acres off of Upper Ferry Rd and Scotch Rd. The picnic area includes a 30-foot by 60-foot pavilion and is equipped with 1 large and 1 small charcoal cooking grill, electricity, and running water.

Park Amenities

The facilities here include:
  • 2 barbeque areas,
  • a pavilion,
  • picnic tables,
  • playground equipment,
  • water

The site can accommodate up to 125  people and has 4 picnic tables under the pavilion. There is a port o john on site. If your party consists of over 75 people, a second port o john will be required for your rental. There is ample parking, along with trash/recycling containers on premises.

Pool Rentals

ESCC Pool

The pool at the Ewing Senior and Community Center is a large L-shaped pool with a new splash pad. There is a snack bar, as well as plenty of tables and chairs by the snack bar and  chaises poolside. Changing rooms and showers are on site at the historic Trenton Bath Houses.

Areas of the pool at the Ewing Senior and Community Center may also be rented for non-private events. Your party of a maximum of 35 people will share the facility with other pool users. Applicants looking to rent for a private party should check the availability at the Hollowbrook Pool.

Fees

Fees for parties are $8.00 per adult, $6.00 per child – with a minimum of 10 people.

Picnic Areas

The picnic area rental fee for Ewing residents is $50.00 per date. The fee for non-residents is $75.00 per date.   Groups over 75 will need to rent a port o john for $85.00.

Field Rentals

Field rentals are $50.00 for (4) hrs. & $100.00 for a full day for residents.  

Pools

The Hollowbrook Community Center Pool is available for rental for private parties. Fees for a private party is: Resident $400.00 | Non-Resident $450.00.
You may host small groups at either pool.  Fees are $8.00 per adult, $6.00 per child  with a minimum of ten (10) people.

Additional fees may apply. Priority is given to Ewing Township Residents first.
