Site Plan Review Board

The Site Plan Review Advisory Board is an advisory committee that assists the Planning and Zoning Boards and other governmental agencies in reviewing applications for development.  Through its review, the SPRB attempts to resolve site plan issues before proposals go to public hearings.  The SPRB assures:

• that developers meets all requirements of Ewing’s land use ordinances, as well as county, state and federal regulations
• that the proposed development provides for basic services, such as potable water supply, sewage disposal, and roads, and that any onsite or offsite impacts are mitigated and offers the opportunity to assess immediate and secondary impacts, such as storm water runoff, flooding and cultural features.

It assists both Boards by:

• classifying all subdivisions and site plans,
• reviewing conceptual and sketch plans, and
• reviewing and recommending to the Board the design treatment of buildings and structures to create a harmonious relationship between existing and proposed buildings and structures and the environs in which they are set, and
• recommending to the Board the adequacy of development applications and their conformance with all Land Use requirements.

The Site Review Board meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month. The meeting schedule is subject to change and additional meetings may be added if necessary.
