On or about Tuesday, February 20, 2024, pre-construction activity will begin on Lower Ferry Road (Structure No. 441.4) in the Township of Ewing. The duration of the pre-construction activity is approximately ten (10) calendar days, weather permitting. The work will be performed by Skoda, a subcontractor of PSE&G. During this time the road will be closed Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm between Parkway Avenue and Carlton Avenue.

Thereafter, on or about March 4, 2024, construction will begin on the replacement bridge (Structure No. 441.4). During this time Lower Ferry Road between Parkway Avenue and Carlton Avenue will be closed 24/7 for 115 calendar days, weather permitting. Local traffic will still be able to use the road up to Theresa Street and Terrace Boulevard. The work for the replacement will be performed by CMS Construction.
