Sherbrooke Park

Located between Sherbrooke Road & Whitehead Road Extension is a quiet 3-acre passive park that abuts the Sherbrooke Manor neighborhood. It houses the Ewing Community Gardens.  The Ewing Community Gardens is a large municipal community garden, fully enclosed with 8’ deer fence. Plots are available by application each spring. Passive recreation: Neighborhood kids can enjoy the playground equipment and swings as well as a large open field for informal games.  

The Ewing Community Gardens is housed on this site, a large, fully fenced, 50,000 sq. ft.  garden that offer plots annually for a modest fee. The gardens offer a water supply, a port-o-john, and regular trash pickup.  

Active recreation:  There is also a youth basketball court for pickup games.  

This 3-acre park offers a couple of playground units, basketball court, open play area and the Ewing Community Gardens site.

Playground Inventory

• playground equipment for ages 2 - 5 and 5 -12.
• 2 swings for ages 2 - 5 and 2 for 5 - 12.

• Park is closed from dusk to dawn
• Pick up all trash including pet waste
• Keep pets under control
• Please respect the privacy of neighbors
• Adult supervision in playground area is strongly recommended
• No alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs and other controlled substances are permitted
