Heat Advisory Notice

The US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly has issued a Heat Advisory for much of the region beginning 10 a.m. Tuesday with Heat Index values up to 104°. 

The Advisory will remain in effect until 8 pm on Wednesday.  Additionally, today's Air Quality Forecast is unhealthy for sensitive groups.  Sensitive individuals, including the very young, the elderly, and persons with respiratory diseases such as asthma, should avoid strenuous activities during the afternoon and early evening hours. 

Mayor Bert H. Steinmann has directed that Ewing's Cooling Center at the Hollowbrook Community Center be opened.
