Trenton Water Works Issues Mandatory Water Conservation Notice

Trenton Water Works (TWW) issued a mandatory water conservation notice on November 14th, asking all customers and service-area residents to limit all nonessential water usage as New Jersey continues to experience historically low precipitation, above-average temperatures, and deteriorating water supply conditions.

FoHVOS and Outdoor Equity Alliance Launch College Internship Program with $50K Grant to Diversify Land Stewardship Workforce

EWING, N.J. -- Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space (FoHVOS) and the Outdoor Equity Alliance (OEA) have been awarded a Watershed Restoration and Community Engagement Program grant of $49,990 to establish a land stewardship internship program at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). This initiative addresses two important needs: diversifying the land stewardship workforce and enhancing the active stewardship of public and private lands in critical watersheds.

Q: Ewing Township now has three leaf vacs plus the front-loader "claw." How much has been collected in the first two weeks of the new curbside leaf collection program? A: We’ve completed 64 truckloads, or roughly 1,600 cubic yards, in just two weeks!
