Senior Citizen Tax Relief Extension

This was a turbulent year. If you forgot to apply for the Senior Freeze property tax reimbursement, don’t worry. The deadline has been extended to Dec. 31, 2020.

What Is Senior Freeze?

Senior Freeze is a State of New Jersey property tax relief program which reimburses eligible senior citizens and disabled persons for property tax on their principal residence. To qualify, you must meet all the eligibility requirements for each year from the base year through the application year (the current application year is 2019).
