The Ewing Senior and Community Center rebuilding project continues to move forward.
The project is currently out to bid and sealed bids will be received Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024. Once the bids are received, they will be reviewed and approved by Township Administration. After that, Township Council will move to approve a bid at one of their bi-weekly meetings.
The design for the interior of the building has also recently been completed. A committee is meeting to discuss ideas for a mural of former Ewing athletes who went on to have successful careers. The mural will decorate the gymnasium wall.
Mayor Bert Steinmann, Business Administrator Aaron T. Watson, and Community Affairs Director Ted Forst recently visited the offices of DIGroup Architects for the unveiling of a model of the building and a portion of the site that included the bath house.
