Attention, Ewing! We’ve got exciting news for our young residents! The deadline to apply for the Ewing Police Department Youth Academy has been extended.
Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure? The Ewing Police Department is thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for our youth to get an insider’s look at law enforcement. Our Youth Academy is designed to build positive relationships between our young community members and the police department.

Steinmann. “This program is not just about learning the basics of law enforcement; it's about building bridges, fostering mutual respect, and inspiring our youth to become active, engaged members of our community. Residency: Must be a resident of Ewing
What to Expect:
Location: Ewing Police Department
Dates:
- Session 1: Monday, Aug. 19, 2024 (8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
- Session 2: Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024 (8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
- Session 3: Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024 (8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
- Session 4: Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024 (8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
- Session 5: Friday, Aug. 23, 2024 (8:30 a.m. – 12 noon, followed by graduation)
Academy Highlights:
Hands-On Learning: Seven daily hours of instruction, activities, and real-life scenarios.
Graduation: Participants who attend all classes will graduate on the final day.

Class Size: Limited to the first 20 applicants. Don’t worry if you miss the initial cut—we’ll put you on a waiting list!
