The Township of Ewing is seeking public comment on the Township’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2024 Annual Action Plan.
The Township will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 2 pm to review the draft of the Township’s 2023 HUD Action Plan. The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at the municipal building, 2 Jake Garzio Drive, Ewing, NJ 08628. Please park and enter on the Upper Level.
The Township is an entitlement grantee of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) which allocates annual grants to develop viable communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment and opportunities to expand economic opportunities, principally for low- and moderate-income persons. The township anticipates receiving over $200,000 in CDBG funds for the program year beginning July 1, 2024. If less or more is received, an amendment to the plan will not be required.
The township prepares a plan each year stating how it proposes to use HUD’s funding. Comments from the public are welcome. A copy of the draft will be posted to this article as soon as it is available, or you may send an email to
