Recreation Happenings - November Edition

The Ewing Recreation Department announces the following summary of upcoming events and programs.

Ewing’s Holiday Tree Lighting

EwingRec LOGOMayor Bert Steinmann, the Ewing Patriotic Committee, and the Ewing Recreation Department invite you to usher in the holiday season with them at the Township’s annual Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony, on Sunday, December 3rd at 3:30 pm at the Major General George J. Betor Veterans Memorial Park behind Town Hall.

Bring your family and friends to await the arrival of Santa and his elves to assist in lighting the Township’s Holiday Tree with a special fire truck escort.  There will be music and a-sing-along with the Fisher Middle School Choir and the Central Praise Team.

After the tree lighting everyone is invited to enjoy holiday music, participate in our sing-a-longs, festive refreshments, and pictures with Santa (don’t forget to bring your cameras to record this memory for posterity).  There will also be balloon men to enjoy, as well as holiday craft giveaways.

This wonderful community-oriented event will take place rain or shine, and we hope to see you there.
