Arbor Day 2022

In recognition of the unparalleled benefits provided to us by the trees on our landscapes, in our neighborhoods, and in our community, the Township Council of Ewing passed Resolution #22R-82 urging citizens to plant and care for trees that gladden the heart and promote the well-being of this and future generations.  This resolution supports the 150^th Year of Arbor Day and the joining of various community groups to plant trees around the Township and celebrate the origins of Arbor Day.

The public is invited to join the Ewing Green Team and Environmental Commission in the planting of a Princeton Elm on the grounds of the Benjamin Temple House at Drake Farm Park, 27 Federal City Road.  Our thanks to Dan Burke of Rock Paper Garden, LLC for contributing the planting services.  The event will take place on Saturday, April 30^th at 9 am.  Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the event by the Ewing Township Historic Preservation Society and tours of the building will be offered.

At 9:30 am the Society will dedicate the Pomeroy Foundation sign at the beginning of the driveway listing our National Registry as a historic location.  The public is welcome to attend.
