Stormwater BMP Forms

Property owners, homeowners' associations, business owners, and residents responsible for maintenance of a stormwater system as per Ewing Township Ordinance 24-05 must submit the appropriate forms below to the Public Works Department (one form for each individual system ie. if you have two basins, submit two basin forms). Select the correct form(s) below for your system type(s).

Requirements include preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and aesthetic maintenance. Preventative and corrective maintenance include the repairs or replacement to the structure, removal of sediment, debris or trash, restoration of eroded areas, snow and ice removal, fence repair or replacement, vegetation maintenance and repair or replacement of non-vegetated linings.

Forms must be filled out and submitted to Ewing stormwater officials every six (6) months (ideally around June 30th and Dec 31st) and after every storm that produces over 2" of rain. These best management practices and ordinances are designed to reduce flood damage, reduce soil erosion, maintain groundwater recharge, and protect public safety.  (see letter from Director of Public Works to this effect.)
