Tax and Sewer Payment Update

Ewing Township is striving to maintain services to the extent possible with due consideration for the safety of residents and our employees during this time of Coronavirus upheaval.  We recognize that residents may have questions as to the best way to handle some regular transactions and services.   As we become aware of your questions, we will attempt to clarify options for handling them.

For those of you used to coming in to pay your sewer bill (due April 1^st) and tax bill (due May 1^st) in person we suggest the following alternatives:

• You may mail in your payment to Ewing Township Tax Office, 2 Jake Garzio Drive, Ewing, NJ 08628.
• There is a Drop Off Mail Boxfor tax/sewer payments located at the back door of the Municipal Building. Use the second parking lot to access this mailbox.
• You may use your bank’s online payment feature. Please allow 7-10 days for your bank to process and mail the check to our office.  Online payments from your bank are NOT electronic transfers.
• Credit Card payments (and/or E-check) can be made online using the Township’s website. Click:  https://www.municipay.com for more information.  A convenience fee will be charged and collected by Municipay, not the Township of Ewing.

Grace Period

The Township allows 10 calendar day grace period, including the due date. If the tenth day falls on a Township holiday or weekend, the grace period is extended to the next business day.  We don’t accept postmarks.   Therefore, the payment must be in the Tax Office by the end of the grace period to avoid additional interest/penalty.
