June 28, 2019- School Household Hazardous Waste Collection and Electronic Recycling Event

The Mercer County Division of Public Health and Mercer County Improvement Authority will offer their 2nd 2019 Free Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Event on Friday, June 28, 2019.

recyclingAs in the past, they encourage  all participating schools to work together to recycle and properly dispose of Hazardous Chemicals, Expired Chemicals, Unidentifiable Chemicals, Old Florescent bulbs, and unused electronics.  All participating Mercer County Schools must complete and sign the Attached Two Forms.  Please list all Hazardous Chemical Waste/Bulbs on separately from the Electronic Waste.  Refer to the attached flyer as guide for what to bring and what not to bring.  Please share this information with your School Administrators, Science Teachers, Technology Staff, School Nurses, and Custodial Staff.
