The Township of Ewing is pleased to announce the launch of a new ewingnj.org website as a part of our commitment to improve services to citizens by expanding access to public documents and online services available through our municipal website.
This commitment has helped residents and businesses find the information they need and conduct business with Ewing Township from their computers or smart phone rather than making a trip town hall. The new state-of-the-art website with a sharp new look and feel puts customer convenience front and center.
According to Mayor Bert Steinmann, “The goal of the new site is to provide greater transparency and, a more user friendly, online experience. The new site provides citizens access to the essential information they need more quickly.”
Official documents, including agendas, minutes, resolutions, comprehensive plans, budgets, and other miscellaneous documents are all housed in one easy-to-search, feature-rich database. Access to these documents is integrated throughout the site. If you are looking for Council Agendas or Minutes check the Office of the Mayor and Our Council pages. If you are looking for planning documents, check our Planning Studies page. Or simply go to the Township’s Online Code available through multiple links throughout the site at https://ecode360.com/EW1628 and browse by categories or perform a keyword search.
We have continued our practice of turning Township forms into conveniently fillable PDFs that are placed on the appropriate pages, as well as on a separate Documents and Forms page, listed by Department.
Ewing Township also employs Spatial Data Logic’s SDL Portal for providing access to town data, property information, maps, and online forms such as inspection requests, complaints … The SDL Portal is a cloud-based application, designed to give you convenient access to all the township data you need, wherever you are. With the use of the Portal, you can complete and submit township Inspection Requests, eliminating the need to pick up paperwork from the municipal building. The Portal also syncs in real-time, which ensures you are getting the most up-to-date information available.
Our new website offers a seamless integration of ewingnj.org with the SDL Portal capability, allowing citizens to better use the Portal to conduct their business online. This seamless interaction between the website and the Portal will also allow Township staff to reap efficiency benefits from digitized form submission.
To use the Portal functionality, you need to create an account. Click the Sign In button, available from the header of every page of ewingnj.org. Enter your user name and password if you already have an account to login or click the Register button to sign up for an account. Once you are logged in, when you click on the dog license or OPRA request link under Digital Applications and Forms on the Clerk’s page for example, you will open, fill out and submit the application within our site, eliminating the need to go to a separate site. We hope that you will find this much more convenient.
