Save the Date for Ewing’s Annual Trunk or Treat

Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 3 pm

Calling all Treaters!

Mayor Bert Steinmann invites all kids in Grades 8 and younger to dress up in their Halloween best and bring their parents/guardians to trunk or treat at Ewing Township’s annual Trunk or Treat event at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ).  The event will be held in parking lot 4 on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 3 – 4:30 pm.  See amazing trunk displays and get your candy in a safe, friendly setting. Pumpkin decorating and arts and crafts begin at 2:00 pm.

All Treaters need to pre-register on CivicRec to help us plan for sufficient treats!

We need Trunks!

Help give a child a great Halloween experience! Decorate your car and fill it with treats as children “trunk or treat” for candy! (Art and school supplies are encouraged as alternative treats). Vehicles must arrive between 1 - 2 pm and be decorated and staffed by 2:30 pm. Trunks arriving after 2 pm will not be able to participate.

This is an extremely popular event with hundreds of kids, so please be prepared.  Participating vehicles cannot leave early.  All treats must be prepackaged.   An adult must be present at the vehicle the entire time. Car owners need to register by 4 pm, October 23^rd to participate!
