PSE&G Gas Work Starting - CR-627/Prospect St, Ewing
The following update refers to the PSE&G Gas Work that needs to be completed in conjunction with the Mercer County Bridge Project on CR-627/Prospect St.
PSE&G Gas Project will start on CR-627/Prospect St, Ewing between Parkway and Olden on Aug 10th
Work Hours will be 7a – 5p
Napp-Grecco will be contractor performing work with PSE&G Supervisor and inspector overseeing the project.
Traffic Control
Police will be scheduled as needed by the contractor
There will be a South Bound Road closure on Prospect between Olden and Parkway. It will only be in place during the hours of 7a – 5p. Road will be opened back up each night.

PSE&G Customer Outreach
Door Hangers will be delivered this Thursday to customers in the work zone
Outreach Supervisor will speak to businesses to ensure they are updated
Letter will be enclosed describing the work on Prospect and the One-way Road Closure will be noted asking customers to seek alternate routes
Customers will be notified by email and robocalls stating work taking place on Prospect, seek alternate routes.
Anticipate the main installation inclusive of Bridge work to be approximately 4 weeks long, weather permitting.
As a reminder, the overall map, TR-306 is being broken into 2 phases. The critical path is phase 1 which allows us to abandon the gas main on the bridge and not cause a gas service disruption or risk of one come winter months. Once phase 1 is close to completion PSE&G will meet to review Phase 2, sometime in October timeframe.
