To celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday, the Ewing Recreation Dept. and Ewing Green Team are running a very special 11th annual Fall Spin Bike Ride on Saturday, September 26th. The ride will commemorate George Washington’s and the Continental Army’s march to Trenton. The ride will start at Washington Crossing Park and go through Hopewell, Ewing and Trenton before stopping at the Old Barracks in Trenton then returning to the park. There will also be a stop in Ewing at the corner of West Upper Ferry Road and Bear Tavern Road where the troops were divided on their way to the Battle of Trenton. The ride will benefit Ewing Historic Preservation Society. In person registration starts at 8:15 am. Pre-registration can be done online at ewingnj.org/recregistration. Registration is being accepted online for the fall for youth tackle football and soccer.
For football go to ewingjrbluedevils.com. Football games and practices are held at LiMato Field, and the program starts in early August.

Ewing/Lawrence Little League is accepting registration for fall ball online at www.ltjbsa.com.
Hollowbrook Pool, located at 320 Hollowbrook Drive, is open Saturdays for private parties 1:00 – 5:00pm and is open to the public 5:00 – 8:00pm. Hours for Sunday – Friday are 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
The ESCC Pool located at 999 Lower Ferry Rd. and is open daily from 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
Pool closing times at both pools changes to 7:30pm starting August 11. Ewing residents can pay daily fees. Labor Day, September 7, is the last day of pool season.
Ewing Recreation Department is taking applications for picnic area permits at the following parks: John Watson on Upper Ferry Rd., Higgs Park on Summerset St., and Betor Park behind the Municipal building. Email Nancy at
