Join the Ewing Township Community Pool System for the 2026 Season!

The 2026 Season kicks off on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 23^rd through May 25^th at the Ewing Senior and Community Center (ESCC) Pool and Sunday, May 24^th through May 25^th at the Hollowbrook Community Pool (HCC), so it’s not too early to start making plans and registering for programs at the pool this summer.

Registration

Registration is now ongoing. Renewal and New Memberships are available online at CivicPlus Rec (ewingnj.org/RecRegistration).

Family, Adult, Child, Senior, and Military season memberships are available as well as daily rate purchases. Half-season memberships are available for purchase beginning Aug 1^st. Nonresidents may purchase a daily pass, but must attend with a Ewing resident. Check out the fees and hours of operation at each location following:

ESCC Pool

The ESCC Pool is located at 999 Lower Ferry Road and is adjacent to the construction site of the soon to be completed Ewing Senior and Community Center. It is a large L-shaped pool with a new splash pad and lap lanes. Coming this summer, the ESCC will also feature a new zero entry baby pool. There is a snack bar, as well as plenty of tables and chairs by the snack bar and chaises poolside with shade structures for protection from the summer sun. Changing rooms, showers, and restrooms are on site at the historic Trenton Bath Houses. Public Wi-Fi is also available poolside.

As regards safety, lifeguards are, of course, on duty at all times, there is a first aid station, and the pool is handicap accessible with a lift.

HCC Pool

The HCC Pool is located at 320 Hollowbrook Drive adjacent to the Hollowbrook Community Center.

The HCC pool complex has a pool complex with a splash pad, changing rooms, rest rooms, picnic tables, and pool deck seating with shade structures ideal for staying cool during hot summer days.

Safety always comes first so lifeguards on always duty. There is a first aid station, and the pool is handicap accessible with a lift. Public Wi-Fi keeps you connected poolside.

The Hollowbrook Pool is closed to the public on Saturdays during the day, but open to the public on Saturdays from 5-8pm, then 5-7:30pm starting Aug 10th.

Hollowbrook is available for private parties and special events from 12 – 5 pm. (Make your reservation for a pool party today! Call 609-883-1199)

Both pools are only open on weekends from Memorial Day weekend through the 2^nd weekend of June. They open daily, beginning June 15^th through September 7^th.

Swim Lessons Summer 2026

We all appreciate the importance of children and adults knowing how to handle themselves safely and competently in the water. To achieve this aim and to promote healthier lifestyles, Ewing Township is pleased to offer the following programs: Youth Swim Lessons, Adult Swim Lessons (ages 21+), and the Senior Water Aerobics and Lap Swim program.

Youth Swim Lessons

Youth Swim Lessons are offered under the direction of Denny Atkinson, Hopewell Valley Swim America at the Hollowbrook Community Center Pool. Hopewell Valley Swim America is a national learn-to-swim program developed by the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA). Swim America is a structured lesson approach where kids progress at their own rate through 10 stations.

Lessons are for children 4 and up. All children will be placed according to age/ability after evaluations are done. Group sizes average 1:5 ratios. Cost: $120/child 50 participants max.

Pre-Testing

Pre-testing allows your child to be evaluated by staff prior to registration for Youth Swim Lessons. Free evaluation for swim lessons is not required but strongly encouraged. Evaluation day is Saturday, June 13th at 10 am – no preregistration required. You must be registered for the swim lessons program to participate in the evaluations.

Schedule: Program runs from June 20 - July 18.

Group A: Saturday mornings from 10 - 10:45 am and Monday evenings from 6 - 6:45 pm.
Group B: Saturday mornings from 11 - 11:45 am and Monday evenings from 7 - 7:45 pm.

Adult Swimming Lessons

USMS Adult Learn to Swim Program will be instructed by Christine Kamph at both the ESCC and HCC Pools. The program is for adults 21 and up. 3 participants max each session, so space is limited.

The program runs from July 6 - August 27 at both of our Ewing pools. There are two sessions with 8 lessons per session.

Cost: $120 per session

HCC

Session 1 - Tues & Thurs Jul 7th - 30th, 3:15 - 4:15 pm
Session II - Tues & Thurs Aug 4h - 27th, 3:15 - 4:15 pm

Senior Water Aerobics and Lap Swim

The Ewing Pool Systems encourages our seniors to dive into fitness with Water Aerobics!

If you are looking to cool off this summer while exercising, register for the Ewing Senior Swim & Water Aerobics Program and enjoy a water aerobics class with instructor or lap swimming at your own pace. This very popular program is limited to Ewing residents only. Sign up by June 1^st.

Cost: $60 (Ewing residents only.) Limited space.

Schedule: Program runs from June 22 - Sept 4 at both of our Ewing pools.
