Curbside Brush Reminder

Loose leaves are only permitted at the curb during leaf collection period in November and December.

All leaves and yard trimmings must be containerized in either a bio-degradable bag or placed in a can for collection March- November.  Please place brush and yard trimmings at the curb the Saturday or Sunday prior to your collection week. Crews may be on your street as early as Monday of your collection week and cannot circle back until your next scheduled pickup.  Check out our Zone Map to see your zone and use this list to see the approximate street order in which the collection crews pickup during the week.  Residents in Zone 1 receive collections the 1st and 3rd week of the month, and Residents in Zone 2 receive collections the 2nd and 4th week.   

Brush

• Brush shall not include whole trees, tree trunks or branches exceeding six inches diameter.
• Brush placed at the curb for collection shall be cut into no larger than four-foot lengths.
• Brush may be loose or containerized.
• Branches and limbs may be securely tied in bundles with a total weight not exceeding 50 pounds.

Grass

Grass clippings are prohibited from being collected with curbside brush. Ewing Township strongly encourages grass cycling by mulching grass clippings in place. Alternatively, residents may put grass clippings in plastic bags for collection on their regular garbage day.  Please use this method of disposal only as a last resort.
