Summer Camps

Mayor Bert Steinmann and the Ewing Recreation Department are pleased to offer 8 week-long summer camp programs to give kids an adventurous, active and healthy summer.  Camp programs include our Summer Day Camp for children entering grades 1 – 6, our popular Teen Travel Camp for teens entering grades 7 – 9, and our Counselor in Training program for students entering grades 9 & 10.

daycampflyer2026webOur programs offer kids the opportunity to make new friends, try new things and make summer memories.  We strive to find fun activities and exciting locations for our trips so that our campers are busy all day, every day!   Many of our campers are new each year, but many come back year after year.  Some come with their friends while others come alone and make new friends during the camp season.

Summer Day Camp

Summer Day Camp is scheduled to start June 29th and run through August 21st.   Summer Day Camp will be for grades entering 1 – 6th. Campers are grouped by grade.

The ESCC full outdoor camp facilities include an Amphitheatre, ball field, tennis courts, pool complex, snack bar, art shed, large playground, and more. All camp days held indoors due to inclement weather will be held at the Fisher Middle School.  So, rain or shine there are always fun things to do!  There is also on staff a Camp Nurse who works every day camp is open.
