In his own words: I was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. When, I was five years old my family decided to leave Puerto Rico and moved to Trenton, NJ. When I was 12 years my parents enrolled me in a program called FOCUS-Hispanic Community Development Inc. The program introduces children to various extra-curricular activities during their after-school program. Immediately, I was interested in their art program. They taught me about different types of art medium. For example, abstract painting, drawing and screen paintings.
As an adult, I rediscovered my passion for painting when I traveled to Puerto Rico. I went to several festivals that had exhibits that included handmade craft. When I returned back home, I was on fire. I started using plywood to create different images on canvas, and objects made of wood. Creating custom wood art work with acrylic paints and epoxy.
