Annual Womanspace Communities of Lights Luminary Lighting

Ewing Township will be participating in the Annual Womanspace (now Younity) Communities of Light luminary lighting on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 5:00pm at the rear entrance of the Ewing Township Municipal Building.

Younity, formerly Womanspace, will be hosting its 23rd annual Communities of Light beginning at sundown in communities and locations across Mercer County.  The public is invited to join in support of victims / survivors of domestic violence and sexual assualt as this event lights the way to help them leave the darkness behind.  

During this December ritual, Communities of Light™ (COL) candles line the streets of central New Jersey – a powerful symbol of hope for men, women and children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in our community. Communities of Light raises awareness of the services available to help those victims in Mercer County. The candles come from luminary kits which help spread the important message of support and solidarity.
