We’d like to share some details about a traffic improvement project underway on Ewing's border.
Mercer County is partnering with the NJ Department of Transportation to convert the intersection of Princeton Avenue (CR 583) and Brunswick Circle Extension (CR 645) into a modern, single-lane roundabout.
Construction, led by Grade Construction, Inc., is set to begin once state approvals are finalized. Variable message boards were installed on Nov. 8 to inform the public of potential traffic impacts, and the project is expected to take about 12 months, divided into four stages.
During construction, traffic will continue along Brunswick Circle Extension and southbound Princeton Avenue. However, northbound Princeton Avenue traffic will detour to the Brunswick Circle for the first three stages, with a truck detour added in stages three and four.
We encourage residents to explore alternative routes during construction to avoid delays. For updates and more details, visit the project page here.
