Green Acres Grant Opportunity Public Meeting

The Township of Ewing is seeking public input on an opportunity to apply for funding to build a completely inclusive playground adjacent to the new Ewing Senior and Community Center (ESCC). 

The playground will be designed to meet Jake's Law standards (New Jersey's regulations for completely inclusive playgrounds) and provide accessible, engaging play opportunities for children and adults of all abilities.  The grant opportunity will be funded through the New Jersey Green Acres Program.

Mayor Bert Steinmann will be hosting the following public meetings, asking those who know our parks best and know the need to share their thoughts.

• January 6, 2026, at 6 pm at the Hollowbrook Community Center, Community Room 
• February 10, 2026, at 6:30 pm in Council Chambers, Ewing Municipal Building, 2 Jake Garzio Drive, Ewing
