Rave Mobile Safety/Powered by Smart911

In our efforts to provide more reliable communications with residents and businesses in Ewing Township, we have contracted with Rave Mobile Safety/Smart911 (formerly SwiftReach Networks, Inc.) as our Emergency Notification service provider.

The system makes phone calls to specific people or areas in the township who have registered for this service in the event of an emergency or for sharing important information. These alerts can include emergencies, flooding or other weather emergencies, road closures, power outages, and other information relevant to the community. All the calls you receive will have the Caller ID of "Ewing Township."  Alerts may be sent by email, text or voice.

Mayor's Messages 
Communications from the Mayor on both emergency and special news, information and events are delivered through the RAVE Mobile Alerts Community Notification System.

Register

Register online here. If you already have an account you may sign in online.  In addition to providing an email address, you can include your address, cell phones and land line phones. Adding an address is recommended since some alerts can be targeted to a specific geographic area if necessary.  

Troubleshooting

If you do not see expected emails, please be sure to check your spam/junk email folders.  Automated emails can be interpreted by your email provider as spam so you may need to change your account settings to allow these messages. 

Additional Notifications

Receive e-mail notifications about the things that interest you. Options include:

• Community Affairs emails about programs for kids and adults, the Ewing Pool System, and special community events.  The Recreation Department uses CivicPlus Recreation Management for program registration, as well as email notifications.  You will need to supply all information required by the CivicPlus Recreation Management program.  
• E NEWS from Ewing Township is published mid-week every week and highlights municipal department news including public safety, public health, recycling information, trash and brush pickup updates, and information about local businesses.  It shares events and community stories, giving residents a place to stay connected and get involved.  We encourage you to jump in—submit your ideas, nominate businesses, and share what’s important to you.
  The "Ewing Scene," our weekend edition focuses on what's going on locally - events near and around town, giving those looking for something to do over the weekend an early heads up.
  "Public Meeting Bulletins" also go out with information about Meetings and Public Notices.  These include very brief notifications about Council, Planning and Zoning meetings every month, as well as any special public meetings.

Due to differences in security protocols, users need to register for alerts and additional notifications separately.
