Q: Can I pay taxes and sewer with my credit card?
A: You can make payment with your credit card for the current tax quarter only. You cannot use a credit card to pay any delinquencies – please call our Tax Office at 609-883-2900 ext 7607 for more information.
Both taxes and sewer can be payable online with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Through MuniciPAY there is a convenience fee of 2.45% (minimum $1.50), which your credit card will charge you.
Q: What is the interest rate on the delinquent amount?
A: The interest rate for any delinquent amount (taxes and/or sewer) is 8% per annum up to $1500.00 and 18% per annum over $1500.00.

NOTE: Failure to receive a Tax or Sewer Bill does not exempt you from paying taxes or sewer charges or the interest due on delinquent taxes/sewer charges.
Q: Are there any deductions available?
A: There are two deductions for which you may be qualify:
- Senior Citizen Deduction – $250.00 per year
- Veteran Deduction – $250.00 per year

Q:What is the Annual Tax Sale?
A: Every municipality in the State of New Jersey must conduct an Annual Tax Sale as
required by the State of New Jersey. Ewing Township Council may adopt a resolution
authorizing the Tax Collector to conduct the Annual Tax Sale prior to the close of the
same calendar year. The Tax Collector will then conduct the Annual Tax Sale at the end
of December of each year for any delinquencies (taxes and/or sewer) after November 10th
of the same calendar year.
NOTE: Unpaid taxes/sewer at the time of the Annual Tax Sale will be subject to a lien
against your property.
Q: Can I file an appeal on my taxes?
A: No – Property taxes cannot be filed by appeal.

A: A deed is an official document that needs to be recorded at the County Clerk’s Office.

A: The Assessor will notify you after the improvement has been issued a Certificate of Occupancy. You will receive an Added Tax Bill in October, which is due on November 1st of the same year.
