Register Your Child Today for a Fun-Filled Summer Camp Experience with the Ewing Recreation Department

Release date: 3/13/2018

Summer Day Camp Registration for Kids K – 5th Grades is now available.

The Ewing Recreation Department offers week-long day camp programs to give kids an adventurous, active and healthy summer.  Our program offers kids the opportunity to make new friends, try new things and make summer memories.  We strive to find fun activities and exciting locations for our trips so that our campers are busy all day, every day!   Many of our campers are new each year, but many come back year after year.  Some come with their friends while others come alone and make new friends during the camp season. Lunch can be purchased from the snack bar. Menus are given to campers a week ahead of time.

Our Summer Day Camp is a full day program that offers 8 regular camp weeks from late June – mid-August and two (2) post camp weeks to complete the summer from mid-August – late August.   The weekly schedule includes fields trips every Thursday, daily swim lessons and free swim in the afternoon, arts and crafts, nature, sports, cooking, dancing, special events and much more.  Unless noted on the schedule or other camp documents, all camp activities take places at the ESCC.  The registration fee includes all transportation and admissions.

Camp Facilities

All camps are held at the Ewing Senior & Community Center (ESCC) 999 Lower Ferry Road.  ESCC full outdoor camp facilities include an Amphitheatre, ball field, tennis courts, pool complex, snack bar, art shed, large playground, and more. Indoor facilities include Nurses Office (The Camp Nurse works every day camp is open) gym, dance studio, large community room, class rooms, kitchens and more. Rain or shine there are always fun things to do!
