SDL Online Permit Portal

To facilitate the permit process the Code Enforcement Office is transitioning to Ewing's SLD Online Portal and encourages applicants to use it also.  With the use of the Portal, there is no longer a need to travel to the municipal building, or make phone calls to department offices. Instead, you can find resources you need online.

Property Transfer

All dwellings or commercial buildings being offered for resale in Ewing Township must be inspected and approved by the Division of Housing. Our Property Transfer Application is currently available from the Code Enforcement office, or can be downloaded here.  The Commercial Tenant Change or Property Transfer can be downloaded here.

Rentals

All rental residential dwellings must be registered with the Township by January 1 of every year – regardless of tenant change – in accordance with Ewing Township ordinance 04-17. The registration process begins with our Rental Registration and Rental Fire forms.

Note: All Rental Registrations and Rental Fire Prevention forms are due January 31 of every year. Currently, Property Maintenance Inspections are not required until further notice. However, all Landlords are required to have a Property Maintenance Inspection upon the change of any tenant.
